Sioux Falls City Council Public Input, June 7, 2016

There once was a time no one showed up and the city of Sioux Falls thought all was running just fine. Then there was an election and for some reason the unwashed masses seem to be in revolt. Or is this just a dream?

Consider this night of Sioux Falls City Council Public Input held on June 7, 2016. Fifteen of our local citizens showed up to let the administration know things are just screwing up everywhere. When was the last time 15 people showed up and were polite to the city council?

The inputs ranged from lead in our water pipes to a non-existent ambulance service (who by the way charges like they serve champagne in the IV drip lines when they do show up) to a forced zoning change to really screw up a neighborhood then.

How about use of the official Mayoral Timer Harassment breaks we get to experience when used by da Mayor to intimidate the average citizens who showed up just to protect their rights.

Just think, if the official Mayoral Timer Harassment breaks were eliminated the 64 minute Public Input would have been much shorter but by no means less entertaining.

Oh, by the way, ask Tex-Rex Golfing how is stopwatch was working. Was is sync with da Mayor’s? The more they shut down the citizens, the more likely the unwashed masses (A.K.A. citizens) would consider exploring a citizen’s led joint recall effort? Keep messing with our rights and see what happens?
