Jesus calling? Are you kidding me? One thing mmm has never done since becoming mayor? Admit what he did for those years at first premier bankcard. Marketing director for the worst fee harvsting credit card scam in the nation. Who did mmm market that card to? Kids just out of high school and on their own for the first time in their lives. Blue haired widows who could not make it month to month anymore on stagnated social security checks. Young, struggling couples who already had very low credit card scores. Why prey on this segment of society? Because they are the very least likely to be able to handle the very small print in the premier bankcard that would enslave these poor folks to a life of monthly payments that could never pull them out of poverty.
Jesus calling my ass.
I think slick Mike is at forum this week.
There is only one title the mayor has consistently held; Hypocrite.
This is playing upon the Jesus factor. It’s a last resort. The cowboy hat for west river didn’t work. Not once did he mention where he attends church. He doesn’t. Until he painted Jesus on snowplows, he thought this was an illegal who worked at the pork plant. Disgusting.
Most of us came from broken families. My real father was an alcoholic. My stepfather was a narcotics detective who was killed when I was 15. I was oldest of 5 who resigned head of the family to my mothers present husband (a great man). At 18 I entered the military and served in combat in Vietnam as a forward observer. Despite health problems from agent orange, I paid my way into college and was self-employed for 35 years.
There are better men and women than I. They have history and respect I cannot compare to. What I do know is I’m twice the man Mike Huether is. His type is far lower percentile. I wouldn’t follow him a few feet.
This piece is fabricated publicity with fake comments. I hope you see it. Most of us do.
“Mike Huether has devoted his life to public service.”
No, Mike devoted his life to taking from the poor and giving to the rich. Mike has only spent the last 6 years in public office and even then many of his efforts have been directed toward benefiting the elite.
“…we had to figure out what country in Europe we were going to go to to work for CitiCorp. We were sitting there talking about it and we decided the country we wanted to live in was South Dakota.”
They don’t teach geography at SDSU apparently. SD isn’t a country and it’s not in Europe. Sadly Mike’s financial skills for keeping Sioux Falls out of debt aren’t much better.
Listen to Mike talk when the cameras aren’t rolling. He is one of the most un-Christian people you will meet. He talks about the ‘loads’ of money he has made as him being fortunate, not about being able to serve people nor about being able to use that money to help people.
Any money he has donated, he has to be recognized for; it has to have his name tied to it. Not very Christian-like at all.
If Mike wants to use religion for political purposes, he should at least strive for accuracy:
“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.†-Gandhi
