Zoning, done to abuse those who can least fight the abuse. Notice how the neighbors are once again thrown to the side in a quest to park a semi? Well as long as Jeff Schmitt says it’s OK, we better just suck it up and do it?

The March 7, 2017 Sioux Falls City Council was asked to approve the old Franklin / Joe Foss School building property to C2 after attempts to make it C3 failed. The possible church to whatever is now going to be a bunch of smallish shops. Well, good luck to all of them.

  1. From having taken the city to Supreme Court, Zoning (like Parks) has their own biased unprofessional undemocratic regime. It’s aside from city government like city government is sovereign and separate from the US constitution. The city judicial ordinance denies you access to the courts unless you contest in Supreme Court constitutionally. It’s because the city attorney never tried a case and needs private guns when he must. A few things citizens must know is there’s no records at zoning. If you get a zoning change or exception, it doesn’t mean anything. Build it, they can’t prove you’re not approved and can’t take you to court. The ordinance they try to use against you allows you to have your court case dismissed. However, be sure to decline being heard in small claims court. What they can and do do is enlist your neighbors to harass you.
It’s time to bring zoning, parks, and legal back into city government without their own organization and logo. More importantly, it’s time to bring city government back into constitutional compliance with state and federal government.

  2. One nation (but not city) under god with liberty and justice for all (unless you live inside Sioux Falls city limits).
