I guess a pitchfork flyer was being passed around at the annex meeting on Wednesday. I am assuming it was in response to the mayor’s comments on the B-N-B show on Tuesday that the citizens who attended the first annex meeting were trying to cause a ‘crap storm’ by bringing their ‘pitchforks and torches’ to which Greg and Mike had a good chuckle.

As I have been told, this was a CITIZEN’s idea that did not come from anyone on the city council, or for that matter from me or Cameraman Bruce. I had to quell those rumors, since it seems someone in the administration is spreading a little ‘crap’ themselves.

(I am trying to get a picture of the original flyer)

  1. I listened to Belfrage with Huether. Lots of references to the Governor. He’s comparing himself. He’ll be running for that. Belfrage seems to be another Huether groupy. All praise. No criticism. I wish Huether would stop calling me ‘Folks’. I’m not a member of his family or cult. He made a point he’s not tolerant of prejudice. Nor is he tolerant of Democracy. Huether said not to use job services. Just put on a thousand dollar suit and interview. No, I’ll get robbed on my way there. There’s jobs but poor wages and a lack of affordable housing. Answer the whole question and I’ll believe in Boomtown. Saying unincorporated areas want to come into the city is not true. He’s looking for ways to back off. Leave them alone until there’s a new mayor who will sweeten the offer and guarantee a return to democracy.

  2. I know a fairly large group of people who were at that meeting. None of them mentioned anything about a flyer like this. What I would like to see here? Josie Alpers and John Brown made very compelling statements that drew widespread applause. A ten minute youtube video of Josie and Johns contribution would be grat to see. How bout it Bruce, can you splice Josie and Johns statements together?

  3. When Huether has an opportunity to be the “bigger man” in these situations, he instead indulges in his instinct for the petty attack. I’m someone who will have a very hard time voting for any of the crop of current gubernatorial candidates, but damn, every time Huether goes on the Belfrage show …….

  4. Belfrage is an uneducated poseur-idiot. He feels pumped up when any politico whose net worth far outstrips his own agrees to use his KELO-AM right wing propaganda soap box to further their own personal agenda. Belfrage only has the stones to challenge someone who’s off-air and can’t refute him. Typical sycophant. Thankfully, KELO-AM hardly even HAS a listening audience any more. They can barely pay the light bill.

  5. It seems when Belfrage holds court there’s no oath and lots of perjury. His bar room banter is the comedy before a late night talk show that’s become the whole show.

  6. belfrage is a hack who would still be working at lewis if am stations still played music. he’d be lucky to run casey casem on the weekends.
