So I assume I’m not the only one thinks this is less of a spring cleaning and more of an opportunity to purge data which may be better not existing.
Time to erase your saved solitaire games, redundant face book posts, and surfer shopping carts.
the winner gets a pizza party. A PIZZA PARTY!!!!
Am i the only one thinking ,, there purging ,, because of this fire chief Jim Sidearas caboodle that’s going on??? Or just coincidence?
A “purge’ that is advertised and promoted to every city Department? Come on guys, it’s a nice day go outside and get some fresh air.
This actually looks like a good idea. I work for a medium sized company, and I may copy this idea for them. Thankfully, I won’t have the world thinking I’m hiding something like you are trying to portray the city doing. From what I’ve been told nothing is ever really deleted and if you want something back there are ways (very expensive) to retrieve these things. It seems funny that several internal pieces of internal communication and documents get published on this site. I realize we are tax payers and have some right to information, but some internal matters should stay that way unless resources are misused. From what it looks like they are trying to save space and money by not having to buy additional storage.
Yes it is normal maintenance, we just found the timing interesting.

Totally disagree. We own our government, we have a right to know what they are doing with our property and our money. Government without transparency and openness is fascism.
