Next Annexation Task Force meeting Thursday May 18

The next meeting of the Annexation Task Force will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017, in the Council Chambers at Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West Tenth Street. The public is welcome to attend. The meeting will be web streamed live on www.siouxfalls.org as well as televised live on cable channel CityLink.

The task force was formed to offer recommendations regarding how to improve the annexation process. The task force will NOT address or propose annexations of specific properties or subdivisions in and around Sioux Falls. Only the full City Council has the authority to address annexations. Furthermore, if an area has an existing preannexation agreement with the City of Sioux Falls, the work this task force performs will not alter the existing agreement.
