that should be fusd.
Gawd, this can’t happen. Fortunately, he’s a man without a party so if he does run the campaign will be a dismal failure. We don’t need play palaces in Pierre. On the other hand, it’s wide open prairie. Plenty of room for his ego and lots of new dumb animals for ‘Listen & Learn’.
Hey I’m sure the campaign appreciates the free advertising ahead of the rumored announcement. Bet they didn’t see that coming from DaCola!
Would someone please explain the math to me on this one? As long as the Democrats have a nominee and looks like they will, and the Republicans certainly will have one, then how does an Independent in a Republican dominant South Dakota win this gubernatorial race?
The Mayor’s candidacy reminds me a lot of Janklows ill conceived Senate candidacy against fellow Republican, an then Senator, Jim Abdnor, back in 1986. Where the Mayor with his admitted admiration for Janklow seems to be emulating Janklow but to no avail. Accept that like Janklow, the Mayor will probably return as mayor someday, however, just as Janklow returned as governor a few years later.
Now Janklow did eventually make it to Washington, but that was short lived, which is a reality that the Mayor should heed if he is channeling Janklow knowingly or not.
I my opinion, the Mayor should have maintained his Democratic Party affiliation, because in my estimation he would have then been the Democratic nominee for governor in 2018 and he would have won the whole shebang, too. Because just as Janklow could have gone to Congress sooner back in 1986 than 2002, if he had chosen a different race, I think the Mayor should have chosen a different or actual party affiliation for 2018, in order, to win.
Oh the tears! MMM gonna be cryin’ “the election was rigged! ” just like his mancrush DJT, taught him.
