I watched the SD Supreme Court hearing on the big yellow house (FF to about 2:10) today.
From listening to the 3 different attorneys (Plaintiff/Defendant/State Historical) I got the feeling that not only the Sapienza’s were guilty of being purposely sneaky in building the house, the city of Sioux Falls pretty much ignored repeated complaints from the McDowells.
So what’s next? We have to wait for the Supreme Court’s decision, which I think they will agree with Pekas to either fix the house, demolish it or move it. Then what?
Well, the Sapienza’s could sue the city, so could the McDowells. I have feeling the big yellow house will be around a little longer, for now.
