I heard yesterday that Marty will be making the presentation to the council on Tuesday to talk about crime and drugs. I’m sure it has NOTHING to do with running for Governor.

It was sure nice of Councilor Erickson to invite our AG to campaign at Carnegie. The rumor in Republican circles she is on Jackboots ‘short list’ for possible Lt. Governor. First he has to beat Noem.

10 Thoughts on “Marty Jackboots to make a campaign stop at the Sioux Falls City Council Public Services meeting

  1. I was kind of hoping for a Jackley/DiSanto ticket myself, because they both know how to end an investigation rather quickly….

Any thoughts on who you think will win the Governor’s race? Can Sutton pull it off in the end? Noem or will it be Governor Marty Jackley?

I think Noem will beat Jackboots in the Primary by at least 2-4 points. She has actually won difficult races in the past, he was appointed originally, never had to be in a primary (that I can think of) and the few challengers he did have were a joke. Noem will handily beat Sutton.

I think Dusty will beat Krebs, but I think once the primary is over, if Bjorkman can get his name out there more he can beat Dusty, but it will be a tough battle. There have been rumors that Dusty was involved with EB-5 and Gear Up, or at least knew what was going on. If that information can get out there, it will help Bjorkman immensely.

Do you think Noem will win in a landslide against Sutton and why? How is Sutton’s campaign staff doing?

My vote is for Noem. As AG, Jackley didn’t step in for Huether illegalities. Especially for ignoring petitions, acting on multimillion contracts without a public vote, and physical assault.

considering shantel’s husband was rounds mouthpiece, she might know about eb5 too.

  7. Dusty has a maturity issue. Against Bjorkman, Dusty is like Opie running against Andy, the justice of the peace, or should I say judge?

There has only been one poll, that I have seen, which has Noem ahead of Jackley. If Jackley gets the nod, he will win. But if Noem gets the nod, then I think Sutton has a slight chance.

  8. I also add, that by having the GEAR UP trials moved from March to June is actually to Jackley’s benefit. Something tells me that these cases will, or at least one of them will, lay an egg for Jackley, so it is best that that happens after the primary date for Jackley….. Jackley already lost on the mary jane trial in Flandreau and his EB5 trial gave us only a $2000 felony, so Jackley can’t afford an other trial failure before the voters’ eyes…. (What? June? That sounds good to me….. 😉 )

  9. Yet another election with no one decent to vote for.

I’m really liking LJL. Another election without correction. I feel Jackley is a good lawyer but not prime time for top at state government. There’s lots I don’t like about Noem but let’s make her governor.
