  1. ThuneHaken’s new commercial obviously has a cavalier attitude about affordable housing.

Apparently, he is buckling down for a close one and trying to grab all the votes from the “Taupe Housing Society of Conformity” that he can find to win this one.

So we don’t need an other Thune and we don’t need a mayor who wishes to only truly represent one of the cities within “A Tale of Two…”

Oh, and since it has become fashionable to not care about facts, thanks to President “Mulligan,” then we should see this poll as very credible….. And remember, Jamison won the last one…. So there you go….

  2. VSG – Paul has been supporting new and more affordable housing the entire campaign. Affordable housing addresses his two key issues of reducing crime and workforce development.

  3. Yeah, and if he wins hope he gets with Brekke and implement her plan to clean up core neighborhoods and save existing affordable housing.

  4. J – The problem with affordable housing in SF is that both hospitals keep tearing down entire neighborhoods to build parking lots instead of parking ramps. Which of these two candidates is going to stand up and say “no more”? Right now, they are both silent on this

  5. l3wis – I think both candidates can benefit from listening to Janet’s ideas. She seems very sensible.

  6. That’s because Sanford owns our city government and I can guarantee BOTH candidates went pandering to Kelby for support.

Just look at our lopsided city council. They deny a beer license to small business owner, 8-0, but let Sanford Health park a liquor license for 6 months or more.

I think the new council’s first resolution should be renaming the city Sanford Falls.

  7. Didn’t the Council refuse to allow a Burnside service club from parking a liquor license a few years back because the policy was NOT to allow license parking? The had to use it or lose it and they lost it. BTW, who ended up with their license?

  8. The poll has good questions. They ask for ID so someone can’t post erroneously or multiple times. The error rate for polls would be either candidate. Likely, polls are irrelevant for this election.

  9. J,

At his initial announcement, affordable housing was an after thought; and at Democratic Forum he added that he was not initially going to make crime such a big part of his campaign, but then he changed his mind…… I think they call that marketing, huh?

And as far as Sanford and its bar, well, the next time a doctor chides any one for their drinking just remember to tell the doctor that you only drink at the Sanford Sports Bar…. 😉
