It was quite comical when Paul said he has ‘tools’ to negative campaign, but won’t use them. It seems his biggest ‘TOOL’ over at the DWC has been quite busy smearing Loetscher. Here are a few of his headlines and posts about Jolene;

Loetscher Campaign going into this weekend… see definitions for “quicksand,” “death spiral,” “free fall”

Dakota Posts shoveling a load this AM on Jolene Loetscher

And here Jo goes again – SD Biotech association says they “have no idea” what Loetcher business is, despite biotech claims

Argus takes Jolene Loetscher to task for lack of transparency. Is she channeling Mayor Mike Huether?

Candidate for Mayor Jolene Loetscher twists opponents words when he says he wants to keep race positive

Uh oh, Jo. Fraternal Order of Police slams Loetscher campaign ads as “misleading”

KELO-TV boosting former reporter’s negative camapign smears against opponent in mayor’s race.

Loetscher campaign seems to be getting a bit desperate as Sioux Falls mayoral campaign winds down to run off

I know what you are thinking, I have been posting stuff about Paul. First off, everything I have said except for parodies has been the truth. Secondly, I have not received one single penny from the Loetscher campaign. Have I talked to Jolene and her campaign manager? Yes I have, but they have never asked me to post anything about Paul. Every post about Paul has been on my own fruition or at the advice of my readers who have tipped me off about several things.

Either way, I think Paul’s claim he has kept it clean is a bit of a stretch, considering there have many people behind the scenes stirring the pot and throwing the mud for him.

  1. DWC is a republican blog pushing Paul. You and Dakota Free Press are liberal blogs pushing Jolene. I am not sure why this would be a shock to anyone. No one is saying that you and DFP are coordinating with Jolene. I don’t know anyone who is claiming that Paul is coordinating with DWC either.

  2. “I don’t know anyone who is claiming that Paul is coordinating with DWC either.”

Yeah, they only ‘coordinate’ when they are tracking down trolls or moving data around the country on musical servers so the AG can’t catch Pat ‘stealing’.

    LOL.

  3. Southdacola can have its bias but DWC can’t have their bias. That seems a little odd. I would assume that the majority are well aware that neither are independent voices nor journalists.
Why are we complaining about private parties such as you, DFP or DWC spreading their personal opinions?

  4. But never a story over at that war campus about the “client” controversy, however, but why?

Generally, the war campus hates the Argus too, but lately they have a fondness for it, but why?

I am still waiting for a repudiation of the the “client” controversy, however, by the war campus too, but when?

Matthew writes, “I don’t know anyone who is claiming that Paul is coordinating with DWC either,” but didn’t he also write that the “DWC is a republican blog pushing Paul?” So they are “pushing,” but not “coordinating,” huh? Even though they have a past relationship obviously due to the “client” controversy? What is it a relationship of “pulling” by osmosis? If so, that’s probably an other tool of the tool bag, huh?

  5. It goes back to the statements Paul made on the VM and at the Rotary Debate. He says he has the ‘tools’ but isn’t using them. I can guarantee you that Pat and Paul’s relationship is very, very, very close and he is using Pat as a ‘Tool’ to smear Jolene. Think about it, while I have a blog that covers Sioux Falls city politics, because I live here and am concerned about my city, why would Pat have any reason to blog about Jolene or Paul unless he is doing a little back scratching? He lives in Brookings. He can’t vote in our elections. I just find it a little hard to believe a non-resident blogger is smearing Jolene all on his own. What would he get out of it? A better Brookings City Government?

  6. Bringing the worst of what happens in Pierre during the legislative session to Sioux Falls. If you profited from EB 5, Gear Up, set up some sweet heart pay to play deals your gonna love Nixon Hacken! All packaged in a very handsome dude. Did you see all his selfies? Reminds us of the final scene of the Devils Advocate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGXvj2BjZLA

  7. Watched Jo Jo Burdin’s temper tantrum…I mean news conference, on Friday. She’s in the downward spiral and starting to play the typical liberal playbook. Point fingers, push blame elsewhere and not talk about the issues. She still is claiming the hacking was done by someone trying to railroad her campaign. Sweetheart, you are doing a good enough job of that yourself. Maybe your husband should use a better password for his email than “Pooperscooper1”, that or he’s looking at sites and clicking links he should not be.

  8. Seeing Jo called “sweetheart” both on this blog and on DWC is exactly what pisses off the progressive women in this state. Keep talking, boys. You’re making our jobs easier.

  9. As a close observer of our local government and issues, it’s looking like the next four years could be very interesting.

  10. I have some advice for the “Nixon Hacken” crowd and that is to remember one thing, that when you tape a door latch make sure to do it vertically and not horizontally, else, the night watchman might catch you….. And oh yah, perhaps there is a cyberspace analogy to a taped latch too….. Well, I really don’t know about that one, but I bet you guys do….So heads up, because we will be all eyes…. 😉

  11. I just came up with an idea. We should change our tourism slogan from “Great Faces, Great Places,” to “Welcome to South Dakota, Where Attempted Hacking is NOT a Crime.”

I bet if Marty becomes the next Gov, he would approve of that change….

Plus, just think of the economic boom from such a switch too, because DSU might be able to capitalize on this one as well with an enhanced applicant pool….

  12. I am sorry, I promise this is my last comment for a while, but if you remember that one of my predictions for 2018 was that the cult south of Custer was going to buy Badlands Speedway, and if that comes true, and if NixonHaken becomes our next mayor, well, then we will definitely have our hands full I am afraid in 2018 and beyond…. (Hey, my Younkers closing prediction came true.)….. So maybe its, or will be, back to Revelations for us all, if you catch my drift…..

  13. To me it seems statements as you example have shock appeal that can’t be substantiated.

    Here’s a shocker:
    ‘TenHacks pees standing up’

The women’s contingent could get Loetscher and Noem elected. Women outnumber men. What if they’re more strength than political parties? They’re tired of good old boys rhetoric. Perhaps they finally realize they must vote to force change.

  14. The only idiots that read DWC are the idiots that read South DaCola. Heads-up – neither of you are influencing election outcomes, so why would either candidate pay or coordinate with you?

  15. Oh Shawn you exclaim “Southdacola can have its bias but DWC can’t have their bias.”

SouthDacola is basing observations on facts and DWC is basing opinions on partisanship and ad revenue. DWC was “saved” in 2012 with the admitted collusion of PTH.

  16. Funniest thing I’ve read in ages.

“SouthDacola is basing observations on facts ”

Bruce you forgot rumors that usually turn out to be wrong and hate for Heuther.

  17. Why try to make the blog out to be something that it’s not? It’s not the work of an independent journalist and that is just fine. We don’t come here for that. I love reading the political speculation and liberal perspective on this blog. Every once in a while there is absurd statements and Bruce may have just reached the pinnacle. “SouthDacola is basing observations on facts.”

  18. SouthDakola is not paid public media. It’s opinion with marginal details that invites independent comment and ideas. It’s unlike the Argus. They have a public responsibility. They came out supporting candidates when they should have stayed impartial. TV endorsed whomever pays the most for advertising. All sources are important but SouthDacola does not need a license or FCC regulated authority. What you read here is whether you want to accept outside statements. I don’t read from terrorist or racist sites. They exist but I choose to read political facts and/or fiction.

  19. To Shawn and good one, if you actually tried to read the news and follow fact base reporting you would find out what is real. Let’s see reality vs alt-news?

  20. “SouthDacola is basing observations on facts”

More proof I was wrong about Bruce. Bruce is the sane one and everyone else on this earth is bat shit crazy.
