Change was in the air Tuesday night as a large, enthusiastic crowd packed Tim Bjorkman for Congress headquarters in Sioux Falls.

Tim hosted a primary watch party and invited supporters to attend. Over 150 people came to follow the returns and discuss the 2018 election! A strong speech from Tim was met with loud applause! Tim is running to restore America to the promise it has represented for decades.

At the end of the night, Dusty Johnson emerged from a three-way race to become the Republican nominee. In a speech before a small crowd at a Sioux Falls hotel, Johnson credited consultants for helping to create his image and promised a dull campaign for South Dakota’s lone seat in the U.S. House.

  1. A “dull campaign?” But I am kind of hoping for the “Full Dusty” this fall…. It could be fun.

In fact, I hope Dusty rediscovers the elevator. I can even imagine a Dusty commercial where he gives his spiel in an elevator, then he looks down at his youngest son, who’s dressed as an elevator boy wearing bowling shoes a course, and then Dusty looks back into the camera as he shakes his head with frustrated determination….

Now that’s the Dusty I want to see this fall, because you know, when they say its all about the kids, or our kids are our future, well, our GOP friends take that quote often literally….but a “little” too far, don’t you think?……

And I think the following would be a good introduction to a SDPB debate between the Judge and Opie too:

  2. Oh, and I almost forgot. Can’t we have some fun this fall with the words “Dusty,” “Johnson,” and let’s say the Pledge product, too? In fact, doesn’t Johnson&Johnson make Pledge?….. Or better yet, isn’t the key word not “Pledge,” rather “plebe” would be more appropriate, don’t you think, when it comes to ridding the House of any dust?…. Especially, when South Dakota only has one Representative for the House and we can’t afford to take a minor approach to it….. (Very punny, I know, but “Dusty Johnson” just sounds like something you don’t want in your House….)

Oh, and did you watch Dusty’s victory speech the other night, when he said he married “…The best looking woman who would have anything to do with him”….. Wow, so women are only about looks to Dusty, huh?….. That’s incredible….He’s Trump without mentioning Trump, that’s very coy of Dusty, I must admit. I guess we will have to see how that plays in the fall, when hopefully the Democrats clean the house and remove any dust…. But then again a literal fundamentalist will tell you that man comes from dust, which I guess explains Dusty’s chauvinism, huh?…. (Way to punny, but I couldn’t resist…But I do pledge not to do it any more…… 😉 )

  3. if i was dusty’s wife i’d be pissed. does “the best looking woman that would marry me” mean he thinks she is unattractive?

  4. You should have seen the look on his wife’s face, when he said that too….. And then a course, his three boys stare at him in total admiration like Nancy staring at Ronny…..
