Not that I really care. Like most conservative editorial cartoonists, he really isn’t that funny. Just how many cartoons can you do about Stace Nelson anyway? I don’t know what their obsession with him is anyway? I have felt Stace has been irrelevant for a very long time.

So ‘HW’ who are you? Or are you afraid Stace is going to bop you over the head?

  1. Terrible Cartoonists and anyone who questions Ravnsborg’s military image is blamed as being Stace. One thing for sure. The state Republican Party elite sure want Ravnsborg as their AG. Crafting an image first to run for US Senate to dilute the field and curiously had photos on his campaign site in front of an A-10 Warthog when he was a Transportation Company Commander. That is a photo to privately share w/ friends and family not put on a high profile campaign page which implies he did something which was not true. Now sell this guy to be South Dakotas next Attorney General? Really? The perfect puppet.

  2. But unless you think that Sutton will get at least 53% or 54% of the vote, then the Republican AG candidate will win.

People don’t vote for AG candidates the way they might vote for Governor, House, or Senate. Republicans tend to vote Party line on the constitutional offices. Especially, if they just got done voting for a Democrat for Governor, House, or Senate. It is what I call a self-redemption vote….

Plus, an AG race is not a break room water cooler topic of discussion; but a chuckle about the Democrats running a Republican for LG might be… Which then means the Republican AG is assured victory.

Say, did everyone see this CBS story last night about Republican AGs across the nation?……:

  3. And thanks to the exposure you provided for him, he’s had at least 6 visits to his page now.

It’s going to go to his head now.

  4. How is this different from all of the other people who regularly post on your blog without using their names?

  5. Well, anonymous free speech is protected, so you do have a point. But I think there is a difference between a commenter and a publisher/editor. And my personal philosophy is if I am going to satire/parody someone I should at least have the integrity to do it using my real name. How can I make fun of others when those are not allowed to make fun of me?

  6. I would say that holding county commission meetings in violation of the open meeting laws of this state is an ultimate form of anonymity…. But in this case, it is also illegal…

  7. Has anyone but myself noticed some of the similarities in grammar and syntax between the posts on this site and Dakota Posts? The cynical side of my brain wonders if Dakota Posts is the Alter-ego of South DaCola.

  8. It’s been years since I have used a fake online name to troll. One of the first blogs I was a writer on in the late 90’s my screen name was ‘Fat Midget’.

  9. Yeah, and the “Wacky Weather Guy” once accused l3wis of being “VSG,” too… These alias accusations against Dacola are at best (or worst) Trumpian in nature…

But I am wondering, is a ‘Fat Midget’ what some would call a MGB? And if so, then that would make you British and a class above your critics….. (#StopThePunsPlease!)
