I’m registered independent because the 2 prominent parties are so radically different. I want to go back and forth depending upon issues. There’s rarely an independent candidate and (likely) I’d not vote for they because they’re just for show. There’s another party, the constitutional party, that applies for me but they’re even less recognized. After Cohen and Manifort were found guilty yesterday, the Republican Party seems criminal. Trump is desperately seeking support speaking to ignorant crowds in Minnesota and West Virginia. I’m leaning toward democrats mostly because they’re more open minded and less bigoted. I just wish they’d get their act together. Meanwhile, it’s looking like Trump should not be re-elected and (perhaps) impeached.
There was a time when Democrats (Kennedy, Clinton) were known for fornication and Republicans didn’t have mistress payoffs. Trump set a new standard for republicans. A democrats’ affair seems minor now compared to a trist with a porn star or paying off a Miss America contestant/employee.
The Cohen and Manifort trials are timely. When Trump resigns near the end of his term, he’ll pardon them.
