Community leaders slept in the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House parking lot last night to raise awareness and support for the homeless.

Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin, Pat Starr and Theresa Stehly were joined by others who were willing to get a”taste” of what the homeless might experience. This event was also a fundraiser for the facility.

  1. In an other two weeks, Noem will have more time, like Stephanie, to do things like this…

  2. Commendable. Don’t do it in December.

If Noem is elected she’s said she would commute and not stay in Governors Mansion. Shouldn’t the governor be close to the Capitol? Especially for emergencies.

  3. Oh, I get it. If Noem wins, she’ll probably turn the Mansion into a shelter and thus commute from Castlewood. But my cynical side says this is just a political ploy, while my sincere side says she really doesn’t plan to do anything about real wages in this state…
