The heck with 5G, rural reservations figured this out (two years ago) Fiber optic is the way to go;

Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Telephone Authority in Eagle Butte stands out, not only locally but nationally, for the millions of dollars invested in recent years to deploy fiber optic connectivity to every home and business in its territory northwest of Pierre. In fact, CRST has had 100 percent fiber connectivity since 2016.

“Our fiber optics give them the capacity to get into telemedicine for improved health, home schooling and even higher education. It keeps them connected to the rest of the world,” she said.

Now if someone can fill in Ironic Johnny and Selfie Paul.

  1. Cable and wireless are separate technology. 5G is higher speeds more volume wireless. It’s separate smaller regions switch connected with much higher volume fiber optic trunk lines. 5G independently collects while fiber collectively transports. Basically, you can’t drag a 500 mile fiber cable but you can locally connect with a wireless handset.
    The only real concern is radiation because there’s more wireless spectrum from more sites closer together with more power. Exposure would have to be a person standing still at the confluence of 5 or more intersecting radio frequencies for more than 5 years.

  2. Cellular (also 5G technology) is a public utility that has replaced wire line telephone. When old fashion Bell wanted to plow up your yard to bring in telco, you couldn’t stop them. You can’t stop 5G. What’s disturbing is how government assists carriers with implementation.

  3. 1. 27,000 NON-INDUSTRY studies overwhelmingly show harmful health & biological effects. Even short term exposure as low as two minutes by a smart meter causes cell damage:

    “Sperm count is reduced by half in men who carry cell phones in their pants pockets for four hours per day.”

    2. Ergo, you have a full spectrum of adverse health effects from headaches & migraines to infertility to brain damage & cancers. This from a full spectrum of wireless devices from baby monitors to wi-fi to smart meters to cordless phones & smartphones. Cellphone radiation now established to be a Group 1 (highest level) carcinogen for heart cancer – the same category as tobacco, asbestos, formaldehyde et al. – and & Group 2 (2nd highest level) for brain & adrenal gland caners.

    3. This is NOT a partisan issue. Wireless radiation in general & 5G specifically are health hazards. One of the first responsibilities of all elected (& high level) officials of EVERY level of government is to protect the health & safety of the people.
