It’s sad how democracy is becoming a bother for some. It’s a sign of the collapse of the middle class in our country and the further gathering of power by the elite.
That said, Seattle has a $15 per hour minimum wage, while Sioux Falls does not. But $15 or not, the greatest cost to a worker, or a citizen, is a government that thinks it always knows best; which makes you wonder in the Seattle case, if $15 a hour is an understanding, or merely an uplifting, in order, to manage a thus less unruly citizenry?
Based on how some of you act during these meetings, I would say we’re more like Portland.
