I asked a city official yesterday why it takes over a week to post the minutes and video of the Parks Board meetings. We were promised more transparency of the meetings by recording not only audio but visual, yet it takes over a week to post it. What is even more troubling is that it takes that long to produce minutes from the meeting. Why?
Maybe the person in charge of the minutes is also in charge of the NO MOW list and they have conveniently lost them, until they conveniently found them. I suspect they will magically show up by the end of the day.
How much money is being spent to build out the top floor of the City Adm. Building to give bloated Director of Innovation & Tech (read: IT) Jason Reisdorfer a brand new tech cave for him to rule over . . . . and he can’t manage to get meeting videos posted online until a week after the meeting concludes??!!!!! He & our terminally-hip unshaven mayor are always jockeying to be the first with cutting edge processes/procedures/tech, and they can’t even administer 20 year old tech effectively. GET REAL. Time to let some adults back into the damn room.
There’s a problem with ego and empire building at Parks. It’s time to force the director out. Maybe retirement. Otherwise, resign or be fired.
