Theresa played me a voicemail tonight that had our mayor telling her he would ‘block her from his facebook page’.
I heard the message. It was him. No doubt. It had something to do with water reclamation and posting comments on his FB page.
But he was on FB last night proclaiming he didn’t do it;
‘There are no mean emails, voicemails, or the like here.’
While I would agree he wasn’t mean (he was actually pretty calm) he did say he would block her. I guess as an elected official if someone was accusing me of something and I was in doubt about it, I would get on the horn and ask for the proof. Then if I truly did do it (the VM is from January I believe) I would apologize and move on.
“It’s Better to Beg for Forgiveness than to Ask for Permission”
Now this happened. I commented on the page this morning that they should remove SF Politics from FB and start a blog where they can moderate comments like I do here. Apparently they are taking my advice.
No doubt he will now pull out his favorite screwdriver from his toolbag (erik mac) to handle this one.
Did he mention the infamous “tool bag,” too?
( and Woodstock adds: “If enough people do this, then maybe we can finally get rid of FB”….. #WorldsNeverEndingChristmasLetter
There is a”Tenhaken Tape”. The public can judge for themselves.
See, this is why I don’t do Facebook. Such a childish thing. Also, an ethics question. Can a mayor block a councilor without a majority of councilors present. If he blocks ‘at large’ Stehly, he’s blocked the general population. Isn’t this a form of Quid Pro Quo? How do you impeach a mayor?
Sentence him to a middle seat in coach with lap children on both sides and an 8 hour connection in Chicago. That’ll keep him home and might keep him from harassing female councilors.
“I can’t believe that a tech savvy guy would have a ‘tool bag,’ that is so 20th century.”
For all of his skills as a digital spook, PTH seems pretty stupid to continually leave this type of voicemail message.
What ever happened to having a consigliere to deliver these messages?
Or even a ‘Frank Nitti’?
Even Mike Rounds is smart enough to use Dusty Johnson to “reach out” to Skyller Borglum.
The Dutch mafia likely too parsimonious to hire a consigliere or retain the services of a henchman.
‘Even Mike Rounds is smart enough to use Dusty Johnson to “reach out†to Skyller Borglum.’
LMFAO!
TGfG is on to something. The mayor is merely a “henchman.” He’s most likely currently working to earn his “Three Degrees” status with the Dutch Mafia. The next pin he needs to earn for such a true “Eagle Scout-ism,” however, will be to serve lunch to Banquet goers, who never went to work that day, because their smartphones died, and thus, they couldn’t procure an on-demand bus.
( and Woodstock adds: “‘Frank Nitti?'”….”I use to own a pair of ‘Frank Nitti’ shoes’ that I got at Payless”…. )
I’m often amazed how these “professionals” can be so petty and childish though their keyboards. If they behave like this at their work, they would be fired. Do they not see these positions as their work? Does the city HR department not understand their role?
Christine Erickson and Nietzert act like teenagers.
If you are truly blocking anyone from a FB page that you use for your work on the council, then yes you are breaking the law. You cant stop the mail from being delivered to the city building because you don’t like who’s writing the letters.
“You cant stop the mail from being delivered to the city building because you don’t like who’s writing the letters.”
LOL. Ask Christopher Bruce about that.
VSG, his “three degrees” or do you mean 33rd degree??
The site was archived because the narrative was heading in a direction the admins were not prepared for. They have an agenda…not one favorable to Councilor Stehly.
The site will rise from the ashes as soon as the mechanic can get to his tool bag.
“The site was archived because the narrative was heading in a direction the admins were not prepared for.”
Yeah, do you think he warms his hands before he grabs his …..
Erica, “Three Degrees” like our Mason friends. Although, sometimes it is known as “33rd Degree.”
VSG, hadnt heard of it called “three degrees” before so good to know.
Although you and I are on different ends of political spectrum, I believe we have same opinion of PTH.
Together Erica, we cannot be stopped! Together, our “tool bags” are greater than others!….. Dilly Dilly!….
