  1. I heard the state legislator was barefoot and drunk. What kind of hillbilly state legislature, is it? Hell, you might as well move it to Ft. Pierre.

  2. Barefoot and drunk often means eventually barefoot and pregnant, but then again, that’s how Republicans generally see women and want them….

  3. So, the Republican legislature didn’t want to give local authorities greater power, or expediency, in times of crises, but whatever happen to “local control”?

First, they hinted at killing Grandma for the economy. Now, we learn that “state and local control” really means state control. Next, we’ll realize that the lack of a stay-at-home order in this state is actually to save what’s left of our current sales tax revenues.

Politics is often messy and it gets scarier when the politicians start to show their true colors. It’s like sausage making without a final product other than the final solution.

  4. With stay at home policy Pierre seems so far away. If they’d smoke pot instead of drink there’d be some creative legislation. Given the munchies there’d be lots of pizza delivered to the capitol.

  5. According to yesterday’s AL, in a text sent by House Majority Leader Lee Qualm, “When Sen. Greenfield and Sen. Langer got off the elevator they couldn’t hardly walk they were so drunk. This easily added 2 hrs to our session.”

Senator Kris Langer(Dell Rapids), District 25 representing Minnehaha *Majority Leader

    Occupation: Realtor

Senator Brock Greenfield (Clark), District 02 representing Brown, Clark, Hamlin, Spink *President Pro Tempore

    Occupation: Businessman/Sub. Teacher/Coach

Message to SD Legislature: Throw These Two Out or The VOTERS Will!

  6. kill granny? don’t forget all of those politicians (mostly dems) who wanted granny to go to china town to mingle with the crowds and celebrate the holiday

  7. An anti-vaxxer bill in the legislature and now this. Would not be surprised if the anti-vaxxers are having COVID – 19 parties. Quaranteen South Dakota!

  8. The “nasty” is done often in Pierre. Just look at your wages. But it is refreshing that they are finally doing to each other what they often do to us. It’s like a fulfillment of that old joke about Dick and Pat Nixon. Except, in our state’s case, we are not better off, when they attend to themselves and appear to leave us alone.
