City Council Informational Meeting • 4 PM • June 3
Presentations on Siouxland Library Services and Programming Update, Summer Parks Programming and Youth Sports, and 2021 Legislative Priorities
Regular City Council Meeting • 7 PM • June 3
Item #6, Approval of Contracts, Sub Item #6, Provide Information Technology Insurance Coverage to the City’s Policy. As I understand this item, the city is seeking a policy to protect them from hackers (instead of just putting safeguards in place to protect us from hackers) $83K.
SIDENOTE: I also have heard that the SD Attorney General is giving Sioux Falls the permission to train their own officers. On one hand, this is a good thing (so we can hire more officers faster) but on the other hand, not sure how this training program will be ran. Hopefully we will hear more about this.
Item #38, The Breaks Coffee House (right next to Total Drag and Common Sense) is applying for a Beer and Wine license. This is awesome because adults will be able to have an adult beverage before attending shows at Total Drag.
Planning Commission Meeting • 6 PM • June 4
Item #5B, Children’s Inn is asking for a Rezone to build on the Campus of the School for the Death (where the current track field is)
