Monday May 18th, Downtown Rotary Forum • At-Large Candidates Stehly and Jensen • Online at NOON.
Thursday May 21st, Council Candidate Forum • All candidates • 5:30 PM
Tuesday May 26th, Argus Leader • At-Large Candidates Stehly and Jensen • 10:30 AM.
There was a SF Chamber Committee private forum this past week and I spoke with someone who was in attendance. They basically said, ‘Theresa crushed it!” They also said Jensen knew very little about city government. Shocker!
My endorsements haven’t really changed;
• Vote NO on both Charter Amendments
• Stehly for At-Large. Like her or not, she has the best interest of the citizens at heart. She is also a champion of transparency.
• Julian Beaudion for NW district. Neitzert has been a turncoat.
• Cynthia Mickelson for school board. I know this may shock some people, but I think she has tried to open the school district up to more transparency. I don’t always agree with her, but I think she really works hard and tries to do the right thing.
• Crystal Johnson for Minnehaha State’s Attorney.
I also encourage everyone to absentee vote either by mail (complicated and they are way behind on applications) or in person at the election center, directly east of the Minnehaha County Administration building. I voted a week ago, brought my own pen, and I was the only one there. As I was leaving I soaked my hands in hand sanitizer by the door.
But she’s a workforce development person. She just wants the working class to be channeled to keep the upper middle income and affluent serviced. I say run to Robson’s on a Saturday morning, get the plumbing piece you need, fix it yourself like your Dad used to do, then go golfing afterwards. Oh, and you might need to cut the grass before you hit the true greens. 😉
( and Woodstock adds: “If they would just raise wages, then people would run to a vo-tech education on their own”…. )
The SF Chamber committee (private forum, no less) would have been a home field performance for the Manchurian puppet candidate.
Sounds like some in attendance should have been “writing off” their investment (aka hefty campaign donation).
Doubtful they did, however. The true spirit of “homer fans”, hating the rival opponent so deeply, they are simply unable to acknowledge the shortcomings of their own team.
Members of the SF Chamber have no concerns about Alex Jensen not understanding city government.
Their #1 priority is……will he rubber stamp our agenda?
Who is that gal talking does she work for corona tenhaken or another over paid employee.
The SF Chamber doesn’t care about the working class tax payers in Sioux Falls. With that being said I care less for DTSF!
Watching Niezert getting anything done in the city chambers is about like watching grass grow.We need people who represent the working class , not another rubber stamp for Corona mayor.

You have also defined the Trumpsters.
A few weeks ago you were split on the charter amendments. What changed your mind?
