It seems the change up didn’t help much since only 6 members attended tonight out of the 9 member board. You will notice by looking at the new list that many members who were not showing up to meetings over the past year have been replaced with temporary terms**.

Once again the TenHaken administration has been busily rearranging deck chairs hoping no one notices. Cruise Control government at it’s best, hopefully we don’t have any unexpected freezing rain.

Government in motion and appearance only. Slowly our democracy is taking on the secrecy and the lack of accountability as if it is just one big federal Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

In FISC, it’s illegal to publicly disclose your subpoena or indictment. In Sioux Falls, you can’t discuss what has already been voted on and the next agenda hasn’t been published yet, so what is one to say?

It’s merely democracy in motion. It looks good, like a lot of our political leaders. They say a suit can make a man. Others will call it an empty suit, but it must be something, if you can get away with wearing it with no tie and some silly luggage tan dress shoes that have white marshmallow soles, or some fancy cool tennie-runners instead.

Democracy in motion, say, look at those shoes.
