While a little rough around the edges, Sierra has proved to be a staunch advocate for her Neighborhood Association (Pettigrew) and other crime stricken neighborhoods in the core. If she gets picked, I believe she will be the 1st Transgender Female to receive the award.
Sierra impresses me. She’s stood up for the forgotten half of the population. Especially, her neighborhood. It’s a little bit of progress that seemed impossible. She’s transgender but she’s us. I’ve been to Thailand a few times. Transgender there is common and accepted as a third classification. I’ve matured and adopted the same attitude.
