Mayor TenHaken currently is the chair of the FCC Intergovernmental Advisory Committee, as a committee member they have to follow certain rules and guidelines in that position. According to the FCC they are only allowed to provide opinions to the FCC Commission. I was unable to find the specific rule that prohibits committee members from making accusations or pronouncements about other fellow lawmakers, like a city councilor he serves with, but I do know that Federal boards have to meet a much higher bar when it comes to conduct. I would think if Councilor Brekke made an inquiry to the FCC about his accusations they would look into the rules he must follow as a committee member.

Does the Mayor get the choice to choose which ethics violations will be ignored when he claims they have been violated ? Have other Councilors received the same treatment ? Isn’t it actually his dereliction of duty to observe a behavior, explicitly point out the behavior and then to expressly look the other way ? If he has a claim he should make it. Otherwise, STFU !

jensen is so physically out of shape in these mtg videos I’m surprised PTH thought he would be a good look to add to the crew. He looks like the penguin from batman got squeezed into some patagonia. Signs of really some poor corporate culture going on.
Speaking of squeezed Patagonia, I know some have suggested that our city councilors should learn to drive our city snow plows, but since when did one of them become a member of our SWAT Team? Also, Jensen’s comment had a Senator Cruz quality about it, but does he know he’ll never need that inflatable vest in warm Cancun unless he doesn’t know how to swim?

Alex won by what, 97 votes? But did Theresa’s Democratic attorney ever challenge any of the ballots during the recount, or just shepherd the recount?
In a close election, you win by disqualifying the other- side’s ballots as much as possible. Not by bringing “new ballots” into the fold, or claiming that the ballot box was stuffed with illegal ballots (Trumpism), rather you except the universe you are given and disqualify from within, or bring back to your advantage those ballots which would benefit you but were initially disqualified on election night…. But I am afraid that Theresa lost because her attorney merely shepherd the recount….
