If there ever was a time I wish Jason Rumblestrips didn’t hit and kill Joe Boever, it is NOW. The SD Dem Party must dig deep to find someone to run against this guy. Remember, this is a person who covered up Gear Up and EB-5, and probably numerous other things, and if you think he has changed, you are mistaken. He has an axe to grind, and it won’t be pretty. Ravnsborg may have been a liar, a dope and a killer, but he isn’t a Marty.
NOEM SAYS IT IS A TRAGEDY TO ABORT A BABY CONCEIVED BY RAPE OR INCEST
In one of her more bizarre incidents, Noem said on Face the Nation that victims of rape and incest should be forced to have the child conceived in violence. It was probably one of the most despicable things I have ever heard her say. When she claims to be for Freedom and Liberty then turns around and forces raped children to have a child produced by their attacker, you have to wonder what is going on in her head. Cue the circus music.
ROE VS. WADE OVERTURNED
I even tell my single male friends that this decision will have further implications in the Supreme Court. They are coming for your contraception and partner rights. A majority of Americans support safe and legal abortion clearly showing our SCOTUS is extremely out of touch with Americans.
A TRUMPLICAN GETS NOMINATED AS THE SD GOP CANDIDATE FOR SOS
It’s one thing for this Stop the Steal supporter to get nominated as SOS, but her extremist views on voter registration, religion and all things wacky to the right should scare the Hell out of us. I BEG the SD DEM Party to find a strong candidate to run against Ms. Johnson. What is even more strange is that they booted an incumbent who has done a fairly decent job. My feelings are they booted Barnett because he was trying to make voting easier in SD by supporting online registration and voting by mail. Even the Republicans in this state hate moderate Republicans.
GUN CONTROL TAKES A STEP FORWARD AND A STEP BACK
While the President did sign a bi-partisan bill for more gun control, it was watered down by the Republicans involved in the negotiations. It also did not help that SCOTUS said it was A-OK to carry a concealed weapon Federally not allowing states to regulate the 2nd Amendment. A majority of Americans support comprehensive gun control.
PRIVATE RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS CAN RECEIVE VOUCHERS
This is only the case in states that have a voucher program. I am vehemently against vouchers. I have argued that if property tax payers can receive vouchers when choosing to send their children to private schools then I should receive a voucher for choosing NOT to have children. I especially think it is reprehensible to fund religious schools with money meant to go towards public education. The SCOTUS got this one wrong on many levels, as well as their ruling on prayer in schools. SCOTUS is virtually ignoring 1st Amendment rights and Separation of Church and state.

Take a look at the legislative and county auditor primaries from 3 weeks ago. Even in Sioux Falls, the Big Lie influenced the local races, too.
SD Dems have a real opportunity to win over some new voters this fall if they’d just get their shit together.
As a delegate I was simply choosing to vote for the most ‘conservative, most constitutional, most honorable person who will bind himself, herself to the South Dakota Constitution. I want a Secretary of State who will be willing to “enforce” election laws as written by the people, I wanted a S.O.S who believed in restrictive Absentee Ballots only allowing a small # of citizens to utilize them, and a S.O.S who will investigate, audit, and assess all VOTERS to ensure they are properly “Domiciled” in South Dakota. While I supported Jason Ravnsborg as Attorney General, my choice was David Natvig for Attorney General cause I felt his values and beliefs matched Ravsnborg’s and I respected the job that Jason Ravsnborg did in protecting the Sovereign Rights of South Dakota Citizens vs the Federal Govt. As a Precinct Committeeman I will do my best to continue to push the republican party to be more “Anti-Federalist” in nature, choosing to be more ‘independent” from the Federal Govt, let alone, push for a return to the original concept of the 1789 Constitution.

A NEWS ALERT for thsoe who do not understand, Penticostals do not want the Roman Catholic Church on the face of the earth.
The overly Catholic Supremos seem to think anyone in America, not preachy Penticostal, are not welcome on these shores. For some reason the right wing Catholics on the Supreme Court do not seem to realize the Penticostal movement would blow them away or send them to the sea for not believing in their version of gawd.
So why do these weak minded Catholics continue to not read into the Constitution precedents and laws meant to protect their own existence and right to their beliefs?
The Penticostal want their version of bible purity which is based on the chosen mythical stories of their personal belief systems they have been indoctrinated with by the for profit preachers and churches of their youth.
We are no longer in a forward looking country, always searching for a ways to make its people stronger, safer and better. We are going to suffer for many years under the knuckle dragging views of a noisy and increasing well-financed minority.
Noem picks controversial excited subjects to get attention. She’ll run for President but become associated with weirdness and lose Republican support early. It’s embarrassing for her to represent state views when it isn’t us. If there is to be a Republican President they should look for a frowning old male like Biden. Someone stubborn and backward like ‘Walter’, Jeff Dunham’s dummy.
Going forward as a progressive country has gotten us nothing but bad debts, inflation, and unconstitutional acts. “WE” need to return the country back to the original concept, repealing amendments 12, 13, 14, 16, 17 then re-write the 13th Amendment to completely ban slavery by leaving out the word “involuntary”, while strengthening the Electoral College by returning us back to a 1 Vote Per District for the President, while the runner up becomes Vice President, while the legislatures appoint the Senators, while the Citizenship is grounded in “Statehood”, and whereas the Federal Govt cannot directly tax the citizens without the consent of the Legislatures, whereas legiuslatures control Congress, and the people elect their legislatures to bind the Congress to the State Constitutions. That is NOT going backwards, that is ‘returning to our “original concept”.

I wrote a long, snarky, and somewhat hubris piece for this post. But, I decided not to have it published, because I didn’t want to bore you. Plus, this is all that really needs to be said:
One, all of you who supported Tim Bjorkman and Billie Sutton in 2018 with their anti-choice political ads, well, you were enablers to what happened last week.
Two, to those fellow feminists (Yes, a man can be a feminist, too.) at the 2020 South Dakota Democratic Convention, who fought and debated me, and where they successfully replaced the word abortion and abortion rights with a phrase about women’s health, well, you, too, were enablers to what happened last week.
Third, I hope everyone has a safe and fun 4th.

Yes, it was a victory for people of all races a sexes that have common sense. Hopefully the ones we voted for will be able to keep making progress against the communists in DC….at least until the mid terms, which is what this is all about. The lib’rals don’t have a leg to stand on, so are bringing back a bunch of lies to feed the sheeple. Obviously, by reading what is written by this author, the sheeple are taking the bait.

Only to be followed by more carnage this week with the Supreme’s ruling that the EPA cannot tell power plants to stop polluting. If the Supreme Court is on a mission to destroy the country, they are nailing it. As I drove to work I thought that I am so glad I am on the downside of working and fighting against the misogyny. Once women cannot control their reproduction, post Roe and post birth control, and with the destruction of the middle class, I cannot imagine the dystopia we are heading for as a country.

I am surprised there’s been no comment (as far as I know) about Noem’s campaign ad. I think it should be fact checked. It’s nauseating.
