Item #54, 1st Reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SIOUX FALLS, SD, APPROVING THE NAMING OF INTERIOR ROOMS ON PUBLIC PROPERTY. (Startup Sioux Falls wants to start naming rooms in their $1 rental. I am angling for a Detroit Lewis broom closet or break room microwave.)

Item #55, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AMENDMENT TWO TO GOLF FACILITIES MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SIOUX FALLS AND LANDSCAPES GOLF MANAGEMENT, LLC. (this is giving away (borrow) two liquor licenses to an independent contractor for the city. I’m sure councilor Neitzert will complain about the process and vote against it. 🙂

MINNEHAHA COUNTY COMMISSION CONSIDERING CO2 PIPELINE MORITORIUM

At their 9 AM meeting tomorrow, they are thinking about holding back on the pipeline (Item #14). I guess the meeting is at Carnegie Town Hall because of remodeling projects at the MCC admin.

  1. I would like to have a street cleaner named after me, well, that is if they still have them. They could do it in a nice patriotic wrap with Woodstock at the bottom pondering.

( and Woodstock adds: “I’d like to see a street cleaner done with a Dua wrap”…. (“Heck, she could clean my street anytime”…. )

  2. Has the mini-fridge been taken, yet? They could name that after me. Maybe put a security camera on it, too, to protect the Cokes.

  3. We should all go in and collect enough money to have that new swanky conference room named: ‘The Theresa Stehly Room’. It would drive the Taupesters nuts. AND, what about naming the SWAT van after David Z.? It could have a zombie wrap with David as the Terminator.

  4. “Maybe Taupster kids would like to donate their allowances to the Stehly Room Fund, huh?”…. “I know they like to contribute to mayoral campaigns”….

  5. For $1,800, Startup Sioux Falls will give you an NFT. Can’t wait til they figure out how to use TIFs to provide digital currency to corporations in Sioux Falls.

  6. Could we turn the Bunker Ramp into a NFT? Bid it up high enough then convert it to Bitcoins, then use the Bitcoins to complete the Village project, and then maybe have enough left over for new siding on the Events Center as well?

    ( and Woodstock adds: “That’s pretty good, VSG”…. (“Once again a liberal solves a conservative mess”… ))
