As I understand it they will be discussing allowing E2s on the bike trail. Many on the committee are on the fence so advocates of E2s showing up and discussing the topic would be great.

Discussing allowing E2’s on the Recreation and Multi use Trail ?
News flash….
There are 100’s of E2’s already there.
And have been for years riding with impunity.
“I’m thinking about pedaling my Moped to it”…. 🙂
This E2 thing is perfect for overwhelming the city with citation hearings. They’re already clogged with unenforceable general citations and fines. Be a proud patriot seeking to restore constitutional due process denied by the Authoritarian Charter.
LMRME2. Let Me Ride My E2. I’m thinking a checkered flag and annual parade soon after LBGTQ.
“No motorized vehicles allowed.”
Nothing with a motor should be on the bike trail.
As someone pointed out to me 1) E1s have a motor, so those would have to be banned 2) all motorized mobility scooters. Some have argued that banning devices that help people with mobility issues, is actually a violation of their 14th Amendment rights. The shared use path is a public space and government can only put reasonable restrictions on that space. If someone is using a mobility scooter or a E2 for mobility assistance, what is the difference? I have felt for a long time an easy fix is a posted speed limit.
Limp when you get off E2 bike. Copy handicap placard and put on handle bar. Speak in tongues when stopped. Citizens arrest because cop is on E2 bike.
Basically, whatever confuses the matter.
