  1. It’s too late. We’re fxxked.

Did you see that recent KELO piece where they talked about how our local growing season, or capability, is now rated as a 5 and not a 4?* Then they went on to report how this means that trees like the Japanese maple can now be grown in our area, but a course the piece makes no mention of how climate change, caused by man, is responsible for this change.

But out of fairness to the reporter, it has been reported that meteorologists especially are too intimidated to talk about climate change now days:

But if our reporters can’t talk about climate change, yet we call ourselves a democracy (I know Mike, it’s a republic), then how are we ever going to be able to effectively combat climate change?

( and Woodstock adds: “I can’t wait until we can grow some palm trees around here…. That will definitely bring in the tourists around here’… “I bet the ‘Banana Belt’ out by Rapid gets them first, however…. You just watch”…. 🙂 )

  2. “Say, maybe Noem should think about growing some Japanese cherry blossom trees around Capitol Lake…. that would be kinda nice”….. “That way, if she doesn’t make it to DC in ’25, then at least it can be Springtime in Paris, I mean Pierre, for her”…. “AND, oh, what about that guy up in Forestburg?”…. “I wonder how a category 5 will impact his melons?”….. 🙂
