Elected officials should avoid social media. I used to tell this to Theresa all the time. I will defend Leah on one point; She is an elected official and if she wants to play on TurdBook all day, that is her deal, and they ain’t much you can do about it. Mayor Munson used to say, “Mayor is 24/7, 365 day a year job.” In other words, as an elected official you are always on duty.

  1. Tonight, I was watching Gutfeld on FOX, because I’m still waiting for conservatives to be funny; but guess what commercial came on during the airing of this FOX program, a commercial encouraging people to subscribe to Dakota Scout, and in this ad, it showed favorable pictures of Trump, Rounds, Thune, and Dusty, but no Democrats.
Given this experience, while waiting to laugh, I began to laugh at the thought that DS was not partisan, because it definitely is….. It’s a Republican rag! #WhenWillThyDoMSNBCorCNNads?

  2. I told Cameraman Bruce the other day that what is the Scab gonna do when the legislative session ends and they have no new elections in 2025? When you make yourself a partisan/political newspaper that just chases down the legislature and elections, you ain’t going to do so well when that well runs dry. I never had any illusions when I started this blog, I knew I wasn’t going to make money, and the model has worked for me, when political news is slow, I take a vacation, who cares?

  3. Does slow news equal food trucks, or are food trucks merely a diversion from the truth, where an aroma overtakes our senses; or our sense?

  4. Love that “Top Contributor” recognition for Leah. It says a lot about where she gets her facts about stolen elections, etc.
