Trust me, when I first heard the rumor I just laughed. Just on its face it is interesting because I’m not sure what record Soehl is running on. He has done very little on council except spend our money foolishly. Curt’s name was brought up lately for the mayor’s race. I guess he is in if Erickson doesn’t run. I have also heard she isn’t the top pick for Lt. Gov if Noem resigns. I found this out because my speculation on Huether’s run and possibly running Curt’s campaign. I will admit this mayoral race will be fun to watch.

This would explain why Curt was center stage at a press conference, and the press he received from it, concerning funding of new City projects like the Riverline and the Wellness Center. Remember, don’t listen to what they say, watch what they do…. 🙂
I thought at the press conference, that his comments were more critical than normal of the current administration, but if he’s running, then he was just throwing red meat out there with the establishment’s conspiratorial acquiescence.
VSG, you are correct, my source told me the same thing, this is why Curtist the Blurtist has been so ‘Blurty’ these days, he is trying to create a media presence and it has been painful to watch. But I am guessing his campaign manager is a lot harder on him then we are. #dontgethuethered

I recall that Greg Jamison ran for mayor (twice) on a platform of fixing potholes and plowing streets. He even drove a snow plow / grader in the Parade of Lights. How did that work out for him?
Jamison’s problem is that he never plows outside of District 12.
