The ‘Eagles of Death Metal’ will play Sturgis this year, among others.

At the Chip: Dylan, Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue, Scoprions, Disturbed, ZZ Top, Buckcherry, Kid Rock, Jason Aldean, Drowning Pool, the Doobie Brothers, Tesla, Stone Sour, Orianthi, Creedence Revisited, the Guess Who, Lee Rocker, Dave Mason, Williams and Ree, and Pee-wee Herman.

Glencoe’s concert line-up, officially call ed the Rock ‘n Rev Festival, is keeping pace. The fest still has an open spot for Friday, Aug. 13, that should net a big name. No official announcement on who, but count on it being major.

At Glencoe’s Rock ‘N Rev Festival: Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Godsmack, Creed, 3 Doors Down, Three Days Grace, Hellyeah, Pop Evil, Darling Stilettos, Skillet, Theft, Wolfmother, Eagles of Death Metal, Cage the Elephant, Swayback, Hinder, Sweet Cyanide, and Rev Theory. All shows except Tuesday night will be hosted by Jim Rose and the Jim Rose Circus.

    2) are classic rockers the only ones hardy enough for the Plains States?
    3) wish I could be there to try out as an extra for the next PeeWee’s Big Adventure! Is he going to revisit the stolen bike theme? He could work in Tour daKota AND Sturgis! (Or, at the Sturgis rally, set a new world record for knocking over the longest line of lined up Harleys).
