The SD Peace and Justice Center is pleased to announce a donation of 1/4 of bison, butchered, from Mark and Sharon Stime, Harmony Hills Bison Farm to be raffled off as a fundraiser for the SD Peace and Justice Center.

We are selling only 100 tickets for this raffle. The tickets are $10 each. If you would like to order tickets, please email me back or call at 605-743-5647, and we will make arrangements.

The bison will be processed when the Stimes have orders for the rest of the animal, so the date you will receive the meat is dependent upon that. The shipping will be covered by the Peace and Justice Center. We are drawing for the 1/4 bison at the Peace and Justice fall conference, Oct. 22 & 23 in Sioux Falls. You need not be present to win. Thank you Mark and Sharon Stimes for your donation! Deb

  1. Personally, I am not a Bison fan, but if I can get 110 lbs. of meat for $10, I’m golden.

  2. I bought a half a couple years ago after I whiffed on getting an elk. Here’s a useful metric – the half fed two of us for about one year. It was a very good purchase and will do it again if and when I whiff on another elk license or work precludes filling the freezer with grass fed venison. Big hat tip to the Stimes and best of luck with the bison ranch.

  3. I’m in. Bison is some of the best tasting meat out there.

    I’m running out of venison.

  4. LOVE bison burgers. Lean and tasty. I’m so in on this raffle … and thinking finding out prices for the meat would be in order. Thanks for the post!
