As a Democratic pundit pointed out today, small businesses that create jobs actually receive tax cuts based on how many employees they have, profits are taxed the same.
Tax the rich double I say.

And isn’t it ironic that democrats also will be hitting those small businesses hard. I have news for you, those dems in office want you to think they are for the little guy, but they are in the same pockets as most of the other politicians and are for sale to the highest bidder.
Obama, like so many Democrats today, is a social

They invest it mostly in out of country interests and tuck it away, they do not create American jobs. If that was the case our unemployment rate wouldn’t be over 20% right now. The Bush tax cuts for the rich have proven they don’t work.

One thing is certain, if the US raises taxes on the wealthy, even more of their money will go overseas to avoid our punitive tax rates. Raising taxes encourages this and will lead to even less tax revenue. Most of what has gone overseas in the last couple of years is due to fear of higher taxes.
How do they “tuck it away”?
How do you know that the tax cuts for everyone under $200K didn’t cause all the things you are talking about? Those tax cuts account for almost 5 times as much as the cuts than the ones for the “rich” do. Seems we should be getting rid of those too, eh? Maybe we should double those rates as well, since we’ve seen how great the government is at “creating jobs” the last three years. Let’s give them more money!
Obama cut and ran in front of the GOP Congressional terrorists for the very rich. If Obama were really a great orator, he would have shredded the Republicans into shame (if that is possible with these self-serving louts) and the taxes on the very rich would be back on and social security taxes would apply to the full amount of income not just the first $100,000 or so.
And if the US Supreme Court thinks corporations are the equivalent of people deserving free speech, they can require corporations to pay social security taxes on all earnings.
Take on a windfall salary tax that rapidly increases progressively once a corporate salary exceeds that of the US President.

Thune recently had a “column” in the RC Journal extolling all the GOP economic voodoo and zombi economics as if fact instead of GOP mythology. Johnson had a parallel column which was classic Johnson waffling obtuse wimpology. No wonder Democratic policies aren’t known in South Dakota when party “spokesman” are so timid and tepid they might as well be dish towels.
No kidding. We have a Democratic Prez, a Democratic Congress and Democratic Senate. Why are we ‘cutting deals’ with Republicans? They shouldn’t even be a the cutting table.

They didn’t for over a year. That’s why there are Republicans sitting in Kennedy’s & Obama’s old Senate seats right now and why so many Democrats got their waking papers on Nov 2nd.
Just an FYI on the whole “small businesses thyat create all the jobs” rhetoric; A Department lof Commerce study (via the Cesus Bureau) finds that nearly 80% of all “small businesses” (tax filers as such) have ZERO (yes that’s right – ZERO) employees. That’s something like 20 MM of the 27 MM small businesses that create ZERO JOBS. Then there’s another study that compares the joib creation numbers of large businesses (500+) with small business job creation (-500) and essentially comes to the conclusion that they each create about HALF (49 small/51 large) ogf new jobs. Just sayin’ – those are te FACTS, not the spin.
When they run for office, it is on a platform that got them elected. But there is not very many of them will not sell out or jump off that platform to get re-elected.
Get rid of this party bullshit and do whatever it takes to get this country back. The Democrats, the Republicans, and the Tea Party is not going to do it. Politics has gotten to be big money making whores.
Everyone politician is power hungry, Power creates Greed, the root of all evil. Greed will not get this country back. I am not even sure God could anymore.
It is going to take the common US citizen to do it. Take away the pensions of these senators and put them on Social Security, take away their health program, and put them on the same plan we have. Take away their travel and other perks, but pay them on performance. With the performance for the last 20 years, they better not do away with food stamps.
