I was opposed to the war in Iraq from the beginning, knowing only good comes from diplomacy, humanity aid and peace. And it costs a Hell of a lot less and solves more problems. But no one would listen. In fact, many called me and my close friends fools. And now it comes to this, veterans getting arrested on the front yard of the White House repeating the same message. Wake up America.

You Treehugger you! 🙂 This has worked out great for us in North Korea eh? Or how about recently the 900 Million dollars we threw at the Palestinians in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict . Iran and Sudan also come to mind as examples that contradict your treehugginess.

  2. Did you watch the video?

  3. So buzz. You gonnma grab your guns and head out to “solve some problems and make people love you” tonight then?

  4. So Buzz, why aren’t you a mercenary putting your butt where your mouth is?

If a nation from the other side of the world invaded and took us over we’d not cave. We’d have to wear sheets and become muslim for awhile but we’d eventually overcome the invaders to rescue our culture. The best way to win is to wear your opponent down from an unpopular and economic approach. We can no longer justify troops, cost, and occupation. It’s been true throughout history. Bush Jr. was not a military historian. He was a drunk cheerleader for Saudi’s who had us fight their war at our expense. Iraq and Afghanistan should be called the ‘Bush Wars’.

  6. “Bush Jr. was not a military historian. ”

LOL! He wasn’t a historian, period.

  7. @Pathloss – the notion that this country could be physically invaded and occupied is more remote now than at any time in history. There is NO COUNTRY ON EARTH that has the resources to transport even a large enough force to take one square mile across the two OCEANS that separate us physically from the rest of the world.
