UPDATE, According to a city official

Eidi Bailly and Rich will present the 2010 audit report of the City’s financial statements, to the Audit committee, on March 22nd.  Following acceptance by the Audit Committee, it will then be presented to the City Council. This will probably happen the first or second week in April.  These are approximate dates and Rich may have a different schedule.  He will be back in the office on Monday, Feb. 14th.

  3. No kidding. Check the update. I’m wondering why it takes 3 months to figure out how much money they lost.

  4. I also find it interesting that I got no answer on the topic until AFTER it posted on my site.

I still want to know how much the Pavilion is paying the person who spies on my website. Maybe it will be in the audit report.

  5. Scott, My goodness, your level of education is rearing its ugly head again. “When is the ___ numbers showing up”?? Answer: “Well, golly gee whiz, them there numbers is a gonna show up in March.”

    Also, it’s: Eide Bailly.

By the way, I can’t imagine anyone ‘spying’ on your site – other than perhaps your old English teachers as they cringe at your readin & writin skills. If they do have occasion to check-in on your page here, they probaly just shake their head(s) and smile knowing that the “D” grade one or all of them might’ve awarded you was, in fact, appropriate.

  6. Actually I was an ‘A’ student in English, and secondly, I copy and pasted the ‘update’ so I was no responsible for spelling Eide Bailly, a city official was, ironically, someone who works in the accounting department. But what amazes me the most that you are enraged over my use of grammar instead of being enraged over the feet dragging at the Pavilion. Typical of you elites, change the subject.

  7. When someone like Brenda has no meaningful input, being a grammar nazi is all they have.

I wonder how far in the red they’ll be this year? I’ll put the over/under at $500,000.00

Actually we’re just getting into the part of the calendar when Q4 and FYE2010 numbers are typically released by corporations and non-profits. I’d say on average these numbers come out around March 1st of each year. Generally Q4 and year end numbers take longer to tabulate and audit — it’s not like the 1040-EZ you’re filing.

As far as the grammar goes, I’d have to agree with Brenda; it really is a reflection on the writer. It doesn’t take long to look over a sentence and check it for spelling and grammar. Can Poly43’s “theory” be extrapolated to say that only contributors with bad grammar and poor spelling have meaningful input? You appear dim when you have multiple misspellings and poor usage and it weakens your argument with those whose opinions differ. Only suck-ups agreeing with your point don’t care about your grammar.

See; well reasoned, meaningful input. Nominally good grammar and spelling. It ain’t rocket surgery, dipshits.

  10. Grammar Nazis stink.

  11. Yet they keep coming back to my site and reading it, so the bad grammar must not bother them to much. They act like I’m getting paid to do this. I don’t give a shit.

  12. I don’t give a shit.

Nor do I. Brenda and Oliver ridicule grammar when it fits their agenda. I’m guessin’ they’re just fine with these whoppers by a guy they apologized eight frickin’ years for.

  13. Really, Poly, do you want to go there?

Let’s be sure to ask OBummer how many states he visited during his campaign: 57 and counting, I believe.

Also, Barry was so good at giving his ‘moving’ tribute to the good Navy “Corpse-man.”

Yes, your guy in the White House is such a genius. Probably because he so enjoyed smoking mj much like you and Scott-the-Waiter (his earlier so-called “correction” stating that ‘I was no responsible for spelling’ – that was priceless). So, with that going for ya’ll, we can all just hope to aspire to your level of intellect: I don’t give a s___. Wow, that’s deep, literally!

  14. ‘I was no responsible for spelling’

LOL! I saw that before I posted it, but I knew you would eventually bring it up, so I left it. I may not be very good at grammar and writing, but I am pretty good at reading people.

  15. Barry? OBummer? Pretty deep back atcha brenda. You and your kind are all alike. Just a whole lot better than the working class. That’s what you think anyway.

Brenda, I’m certain you think you’re a better person than the Scott-the-Waiters of the world. But you are not. Just another elitist loser. I’ll sit down and drink a cool one with people like Scott long before I would give the likes of you the time of day.

Now back at those Pavillion numbers. I say a half mil in the red. What say you Bren?

  16. I predict $700,000.00 in the red.

  17. I won’t make predictions, because they will twist the the numbers, like they did a few years ago and counted toilet paper as collateral inventory, or something like that.

Made me think about the record sales we have been having at the restaurant I work at lately, and my personal sales, it’s about a level of service, and doing the consumer right. The problem with the Pavilion is they don’t think about the patron, they worry about stupid shit, they did when I worked there, and they still do. Make patrons happy and you will sell more and you will make more money. Bottom line. While I think capitalism is good and bad on many levels, I’m not naive, people will keep coming back for more, if you treat them with respect, dignity and go the extra mile. Trust me as a waiter, you learn this very quickly, even though Brenda thinks servers are second rate citizens, which makes me laugh, since I make twice as much as call center flunkies.
