Mr. Show, Part II under the Big Top

I had the pleasure of seeing these guys last night on a whim in the parking lot of Tommy Jacks. I have always loved their music. They also have a lot of beautiful tattooed emo girls come to their shows. I remember leaving on my cruiser with sparklers lit and sticking out of my sissy bar. Don’t ask.

With all do respect to Janitor Bob, Violet, Spooncat, Indigenous, Snakebeard, et al; I believe that We All Have Hooks For Hands is easily the most talented group I have ever heard come from this state. Ridiculous amount of talent.

I would not go that far, but they are super fun. And their music makes me happy. Of course, Eli Show, the lead singer, is Rich Show’s son, Rich was the lead singer of Violet, and I love his music. In fact I told Rich the other day that his solo album, ‘Obviously’ is still great to listen to. Eli is also an amazing visual POP artist, and I own one of his pieces, but wish I had more.

I was aware of the Show boys connection (also a drumming son) to Rich/Violet.

Heggs, Shows, Yosts uber talented South Dakota music families eh?

Have had the pleasure of opening several shows for these guys. Agree with yanktonirishred…best band to come out of south dakota. The amount of energy they exert on stage is ridiculous.
