I like how it took until the end of June to complete (manipulate) the snow gates report. They must have been worried we would still get snow in June.

  2. Today’s Council agenda is an interesting visualization! Snowgates…a “Quality of Life” issue that would benefit almost all SF citizens. And, a 99 million (or is it now 120 million??) dollar “playground” that will benefit only some SF citizens. If both are put to a vote…what would be your answer?

Should be very interesting… Just a note about EC financing. Current SF debt load (as of 2010) was about $280M. Adding a (conservative) $80M in EC bonding would push us up to $360M, or over 110% of the annual budget. Compare that to $86M (less than 40% of budget) at the low point in 2004.

Do we really want to add this level of future obligation with such an uncertain economy looming ahead?

Munson was the king of debt. When he took office, the city had about $90 million of it, I think he raised it another $200 million.

As for snow gates, no kidding it is quality of life, but we know what the council’s priorities are.

Pathloss…don’t know you at all but just lost any respect for you with the “klingon” comment. Quite low…do you even know anything about him or why he might be that way? Kinda feel sorry for you really.

I agree, I deleted the comment. Not cool.
