Pretty awesome reunion story!
I still have to hear him play it. IMO, Rocco could make a broomstick with rubberbands strung across it sound good. I just think the BC Rich was the first geetar Rocco jerked off on, I’m just saying.
It’s an ‘Art Car’ because it’s distinguished, noticed, and never goes out of style. You get attention driving it but not the kind as you would driving a Mercedes. There’s often a good story behind the owner and a car such as this.
I know what Rocco paid for the car, and at the time, I told him it was too much, little did I know the Coronet RT was a rare Dodge. That car is probably worth twice as much as what he paid for it, and a pretty damn good investment. As for horsepower, it would rip a Mercedes to shreds, even though, I also say my first sports car will be a Compressor convertible. Just haven’t decided if I want a silver or red one.
He’s playing this Saturday at Latitude 44 and next Saturday (2/25) at Grille 26 from 6pm – 10pm
Rocco is a great guitar player and a great person. He is a true friend to everyone who knows him. His disdain for Ric Flair is the only downside I know of.
