Notice the name above? Patrick Knecht is the local attorney representing the Homan Family (Walmart), his boss Gregg Greenfield owns the law firm he works for. Gregg Greenfield was featured in an AL story today;
In an email Aug. 22, Pfeifle notified Huether that her request had been turned over to Gregg Greenfield, who “has helped the city on BID issues for the last couple years.â€
A few hours later, Cindy Huether sent an email to 10 members of the Community Indoor Tennis Center group. She told them that Pfeifle thought it was OK to use BID monies for capital projects but had turned the issue over to Greenfield to “double check.â€
So now the city is using the same law firm as Walmart to answer their legal questions. Interesting.

What bid issues? There’s no competitive bid process at city hall. Is Homan a relative of Pam. The property should have been pursued from a different angle. It’s a public display for viewing human evolution by observing Walmart shoppers.
