Another List

1. The country as a whole is overdue for women in the role of leading. Ego is a huge deterrent to men. Our present mayor a classic example. Nationally, I can’t think of anyone I’d rather see running the show than Elizabeth Warren. Locally, I’d volunteer my time and efforts for either of these two. Jennifer Holsen or Debra Owen.

   erp? NO CHANCE IN HELL.

2. Gawd I don’t like Erpenbach or Smith. In THIS CASE, I like Poly thinking and choices. Especially, Debra Owen if she’ll do it. Someone will run. They’ll be ignorant or a hero. Recovery from city debt and vacant entertainment/sports flops will be a hard try. THE WOMAN will be like the present CEO of GM. Recall everything, no profit, and nothing but testify.

   I (myself) would thwart the city into bankruptcy and layoff city employees who don’t live inside city limits. There would be lots of hard choices. I’d restore democracy and probably be recalled before the end of one term.

   It’s a sad state of the city if we’re thinking into 2018 when it’s 2014.

3. Prolly whomever T. Denny and Craig Lloyd find palatable… 😉

4. How bout write in Lloyd and avoid the middle man. Better yet, suspend elections and accept what has become a dictatorship.

5. My Council run was a great learning experience this year, and a chance to build name recognition. We need new leadership that isn’t entrenched in the politics of the past. I hope I can run again in the future and help honest people go into public service who want to serve for the right reasons. No more bankers whose business is creating debt or bureaucrats like Smith who work to shield the Mayor and his crony politics at city hall.

6. I can’t wait to watch the Matchup between Dusty Johnson and Mike Huether. That will probably be more theatre then most South Dakotans can handle.

7. You got time Emmett. I’m impressed with what you’ve learned and your inspiration to effect change. You couldn’t win an election that was rigged. It’s gonna take a lot more like you or I to return government to the people.

8. I wouldn’t count Mark Mickelson out for Governor either.
