It hung on the tree along with ornaments featuring lovingly painted state seals and state scenery till the Washington Post pointed out that it differed substantially from its fellows.

AP followed, and Lawrence’s ornment was plucked from its branch, on orders from Laura Bush.

  1. About the Chambliss vote. 35% turnout this time around compared to 65% last month. People are burned out at this point. Especially on a workday.

  2. I hadn’t heard that, but wondered about turnout. It is Georgia though, I figured he would pull it off. Now if they can just figure out that fiasco in Minnesota.
