When those promoting the indoor tennis courts and the indoor hockey rinks came to the taxpayers with their public private partnership ideas, they were told by the City Council that the tax dollars they were being GIFTED were a ONE TIME ONLY DONATION.
At the same time, they were told by multiple Council members DO NOT return at any time in the future looking for ADDITIONAL TAX DOLLARS!!!
It’s on the official Council record.
What a waste. Since it’s private, raise the property tax until the Huether’s can’t afford it. Then, it’ll be sold on the courthouse steps and become an indoor grow facility once marijuana becomes legal.
Instead of tennis, try laser tag. Perhaps paintball Dear hunting with strippers. Kinda works with city pawn and gun range notariety.
