5G Antenna by Eastside Sioux Falls Target
In correspondence with the city’s legal department, an advocate opposed to 5G, John Miller, received this letter from the city; (DOC: 5G-Letter)
I found this part interesting;
The taxpayers of Sioux Falls OWN the utilities and all of the equipment associated with the utilities. Â The city has said that the poles are not strong enough to hold the 5G equipment and that Verizon is going to have to put cement under the poles. Â That is a change that SHOULD to be approved by the taxpayers, thus it should to go to a referendum. Â Legally, the changes proposed by the city council must be approved of first by the taxpayers in an election. But since no one asked, city hall didn’t let the taxpayers know their rights. A little trick City Hall has played for many years – don’t tell citizens what is going on, have only back room meetings with the major players, then tell the public once it is too late to do anything, or at least have time to organize. Could this be illegal? Not sure. Every city has a constitution (charter), a document of formation. Â You will find that Sioux Falls probably needs public approval before doing something as fundamental as allowing a private corporation to change the way the utilities operate.
Can we stop 5G in Sioux Falls? Or is it too late because we ‘missed the boat’?
UPDATE: Remember me telling you that the City of Houston, TX rolled out 5G the same way Sioux Falls did, which triggered the industry to give Mayor Turner a CITA award.

Uhh…the city doesn’t provide legal counsel to people when they sue the city on anything. Was there this sky-is-falling protest when cell service went from 3G to 4G in the city? No. What gives?
First off, this is about a private corporation trying to use taxpayer owned property for profit. The City’s Legal Counsel should be looking out for ALL the citizens of SF instead of protecting a private corporation from public interference. Those antenna’s are hundreds of feet in the air, people can take reasonable measures to protect themselves from the radiation if they want to, with 5G, there isn’t a choice. Ironically there is a safer way to to get high speed internet, and what I use in my home. It’s called an ethernet cord.

Don’t think it’s too late & we should never give up the fight because the health risks are just too great. Wireless radiation is already labeled a Group 2B (possible) carcinogen by the World Health Organizaiton (WHO) & now they want to move it up to a Group 1 (known carcinogen) due to The National Toxicology Program report released Nov 1, 2018.

5G adds to all the prior generations & is a more potent signal using more dangerous & much higher frequency millimeter waves. You know, the microwaves they use for crowd control/dispersion. Your sweat glands effectively become micro antennae receiving the microwaves – very unpleasant tingling or skin on fire feeling.
Verizon has already proven 5G signals are effective from 3000 feet & their CEO states it will save them a huge amount on capital expenditures – per item 6 of this report. So why have any small cell towers at all?

The problem you have in fighting this is that people want the technology. Without any significant evidence to the contrary, the general public isn’t going to rise up. They’ll be fine granting the access.
The city is not known for protecting citizens. If one is looking for protection and uncorruptable government, nearly all surrounding cities are a good place to move to. It’s hard to sell in a nuked neighborhood. Now is the time to escape before your brain gets cooked. On the other hand, you could be a real zombie for the annual Halloween walk.
Pat, you are right. Most people want it, they just don’t know why. While I get the health argument, I’m more upset about how it was rolled out, there was NO public discussion, just John Thune pushing the buttons. I also don’t like the fact that we are only charging $175 a year.
It would be better if Wirelessly Irradiated used their own name.
Pat, We have to educate as many people as we can & fast re the danger of wireless radiation emanating from all sources: Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones, baby monitors, laptops, iPads & tablets, cell phones, smart meters & anything else that is labeled as a “smart” device or appliance.
Going with hard wired (cable, ethernet & fiber optics) is the answer b/c it eliminates the irradiation, plus it’s faster, cheaper, more reliable & more secure. France has eliminated wireless devices in their schools, Cyprus is limiting them too & other countries are far ahead of us re the dangers. We have to do the same here in the U.S. – get “hard” wired. What city can I move to around Sioux Falls where I can be guaranteed 5G will NOT be rolled out? I think none at this point.

I am one person (& need to remain anonymous) that became aware of the dangers of RF & Microwave radiation in just the last month. Been doing a deep dive, researching it heavily.
