Cory at Madville points out just how unqualified our governor is by not making any future plans if we get the stimulus. But instead is playing politics because he is still apparently grumpy his candidate, Huckabee, didn’t become our 44th president. I think this quote says it all;

“We’re really kind of waiting to find out those details in that bill before we start talking about the money that might be available if they pass it,” Rounds said.

But no worries Cory, Rounds may not be prepared but you can guarantee Mayor Munson and Sioux Falls will be first in line at the stimulus soup kitchen. Hell we already been boworing money for projects in hopes the feds (Tim Johnson) pays us back.

And of course Ironic Johnny Thune is just a fountain of optimism;

Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., voted against the bill. “This stimulus bill is just too much – too much borrowed money, too much pork, too much waste, and too much spending that will stimulate government instead of the economy,” he said in a prepared statement. “In the end, this trillion-dollar legislation simply costs too much and delivers too little.”

Well, John, tell us how you (and Boehner) really feel . . . let’s just hope he gets his crystal balls the same place he gets his president ears.

4 Thoughts on “I kinda thought the same thing Cory

  1. Boehner is truly a clown. There’s the fake suntan, the fake outrage, the pulling out the tears when it’ll help promote the Iraq occupation and his latest stunt of theatrically throwing the stimulus on the floor.

    It figures that is who Thune would align himself with.

  2. P.S. Sen. Thune — Where the heck was your concern when we were lied into Iraq and the TRILLIONS going down that rat hole????

    I can hardly wait until the next elections. I’ll donate to the opposing candidates and can hardly wait to see both Boehner and Thune outta there.

  3. Great minds, dude!

    Always have a Plan B. Even the Barenaked Ladies could come up with a better wish list than the Gov.

  4. Fuck, give it to all the people who hung out in Andy Warhol’s factory. That shit would have been shot up in about a week and there would have been some cool art that came out of it to.

    When I see Mike Rounds talk, I think ‘Thomas Kinkade’
