A foot soldier sent me this photo he took today of the Arc of Dreams and the Crane over the bunker ramp debacle.

Dreams not realized?

  1. The RS-5 are leaving their legacy everywhere, even the Arc of Dreams looks droopy in sadness over their mistakes.

  2. KELO tower center right. They didn’t renew their contract with Direct TV and lost about a third of viewers.

  3. They should decorate the crane at Christmas time with lights…..#WhatWouldPettigrewDo?

  4. KELO just did a story about the fear someone will try to climb it. Well hell, wasn’t that a given? Shouldn’t that have been discussed before this was ever allowed to be built? Shouldn’t this news story have been done before the structure was ever put into place as well?

We now have a structure that could put first responders into peril just for the sake of a few self-aggrandizing developers and “Movers & Shakers.” But then again, that’s how things work in this town too often, don’t they?….#UnderPayAll&Put1stRespondersInPerilThatsTheSiouxFallsWay

  5. Gee, what other ways in town can the “Movers & Shakers” put workers into peril? Let’s see, one of them is to mess with load bearing walls and an other is to allow a structure to be built, that people will try to climb, which will then put first responders into peril. There’s got to be some other brilliant ideas up the “M & Ss'” sleeves too though, don’t you think?

  6. It looks like the fingers of Sioux Rivers god is pointing out how stupid the RS5 were to allow the crane to mess up the skyline of the river town.

  7. With the growing disparity of rich and poor in Sioux Falls how long will it be before someone dismantles parts of the Arc to sell for scrap? If it gets real bad will they hang themselves from it?
