This is actually pretty darn funny.

You know, when 40% of the population could support Bob Dole, and 49% could support Bill Clinton, and then the remainder for Ross Perot and some fringe candidates, we could all say, well, we are all good Americans who support candidates within the norm; but when that 40% now pretty much supports – or enables is probably a better word – the lunacy of the Trump presidency, you have to ask yourself what the hell is wrong with that 40%, which is about 2/3rds of the white population in this country, and which likes to consider itself well educated, level headed, and the “Chosen”….What the hell is wrong with them?

Well, I have an answer to that question. There’re racists, or what comedian Aziz Ansari on SNL once called, “lower case kkk.” I hate to be so simplistic and mean in my analysis with this, but what else could it be?

One of Trumps lowest points in polling is not now with impeachment on the horizon, rather it was in mid-August 2017, which then in turn explains Trump’s racists comments in Charlottesville, Virginia at that time. And then guess what happen, while most Americans were offended by Trumps comments then, when Trump elevated the Nazis with those comments, Trump’s polling numbers actually began to climb out of one of his lowest points, while in office. So the evidence is there, I am afraid, as to why this 40% sticks with Trump, and in so doing it sticks us all in a very sad situation.

I my also add, that one of the other low points in Trump’s popularity was in 2017, too, where the gain Trump received from his Charlottesville comments began to collapse in December of 2017, only to then be saved by the passing of the Trump Tax cuts in the third week of December 2017. So let me modify my analysis and say it is racism and taxes cuts (for the rich primarily), which explains Trump’s ability to hold onto his 40%, or sadly 2/3rds of the white population; which in turn sadly says a lot about too many Americans, and makes the old adage about death and taxes to be more about the death of our spirit, or idealism as a country and a course our loath for taxation.

Trump has become entertainment. Proof that the government runs itself. What will we do when this less than one term president leaves office? We’ii have to go back to respecting the office. Working a crossword or checking our horoscope does not compare with Trump tweets. Why don’t we make Trump king and elect one of the generals prime minister. It works for England. Then, Trump becomes a permanent groping comedian and congress becomes brawls. That’s entertainment.
