Funny that some of these qualifications were not brought up before the last guy was hired;

  1. What about Friday afternoons and her nearest file cabinet? What does she keep in her file cabinet? And is she “an excellent driver,” too?

  2. As recently as January 3, 2020, the list of minimum qualifications for this position were listed at:

    siouxfalls.org

    Human Resources

    Employment Opportunities

    Director of Innovation and Technology

    Minimum Qualifications

    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, computer science, or related field with a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in one or more of these fields. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience at a division manager level; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.

    This list of qualifications has now been REPLACED by a recruitment video!

  3. We must NEVER let this colossal TenHaken freshman blunder be forgotten. He thinks his pop culture marketing acumen gives him a failsafe gut instinct to employ cutting-edge out-of-the-box decisions in municipal government, while utterly ignoring time-honored and time-tested conventions. He hired this uneducated, unqualified, unrefined big lug in a hipster move to “cast against type”, OVER the objections of the more experienced adults in the room. By doing so, PTH reinforced just how ill-suited the philosophy of “running government like a business” really is. This love-bead-wearing-no-collar-no-tie-pizza-parlor-business-failure-wanna-be-high-school-athletic-star-auto-parts-pedddler Reisdorker took the taxpayers for well over $200k in wasted & excessive salary + benefits, generous paid vacation after less than a year in service, resume-building educational opportunities out-of-state, and a continuing string of well-documented boozing/gambling opportunities at every turn. Reisdorker was in over his head and was an embarrassment as a municipal leadership representative of Sioux Falls. I strongly suspect he was given the opportunity to resign rather than being fired – and of course PTH will NEVER put himself in a position to answer to this in a live press conference.
