Pat’s guest was Sioux Falls City Councilor, Christine Erickson. Pat drilled Christine about her and Neitzert getting their panties in a bunch over Knobe’s ethics comments. What I find funny is if you don’t think you did anything wrong ‘ethically’ why do you care what Knobe says? I think your reaction speaks volumes about your guilty conscious.

  1. Two things stood out to me on the interview.

    1) You cannot call yourself a libertarian and at the same time have her voting track record.

    2) She made it sound like she had no choice in how chernobyl by the river came to be. All the warning sirens were sounded about that ramp well ahead of her vote. Yet she voted in favor of it anyway.

  2. Having a guy who bragged on FB about taking down a load-bearing wall without permits, which resulted in the death of a worker, and then was allowed to be a part of the initial investment team for the Village on the River project wasn’t enough for her to say “NO” to that project?

Just how many deaths does it take? And the unwillingness of the council to take a second look at the overall permit process given the Copper Lounge tragedy speaks allowing to an inherent indifference, which then metastasized sadly into the Bunker Ramp fiasco, which some, including her, are undoubtedly responsible for.
