A Democrat against a bunch of Republicans. It sounds like the EB5 inquiry. And how many indictments were there then?
This should be interesting. I don’t understand why Jensen needs an attorney cadre and can’t speak for himself. Kudos to Mr. Seiler for donating his professional time.
Why does Alex Jensen feel a need to have so many attorneys with him?
The Peoples’s Process is already well-represented by four attorneys chosen in advance. Jon Hansen, Randy Seiler, Rodney Steele and Stacy Kooistra
….and, a spokesperson….can’t the guy speak for himself!
This whole process is a giant “sh!t show” to be honest. Yes we need to get the count right and ensure the correct winner, I am not arguing that. This race has been strange, odd, hostile, and juvenile on BOTH sides. Neither frankly deserve to win and I would be happy to dump the whole City Council and Mayor and start over.
– Teresa and constantly cried wolf and made things that are not big deals into massive issues. She has been her own worst enemy. She even posted on FB a few days ago how this was such a Partisan race for a non partisan seat yet BOTH went big dogs on the Republican and Democrats they chose to represent them. I don’t care who they chose by you can’t claim one person is making it Partisain by their choices then you do the same. She has been very inconsistent on her messaging. I would say Hypocritical but, that may be too harsh. I really have had a hard time following her as of the last year, I dont know what her deal is. Time and Time again she has gotten beat up badly by other Councilors for not doing her homework on readily available items. The last one I recall was the Resolution she wanted to put a moratorium on evictions due to Covid. Kiley mopped her up with data and facts, called her out, as well as did many of the people who spoke that night. I know her heart is in the right place but, you have to be factually accurate on items. I think many, if they were being honest, would admit she has not helped herself at all over the last year.
– Alex’s optics are horrible! 3 Lawyers and a spokesperson, really dude! Taking no positions on really anything and just sitting back. If you don’t take a stance on anything it means you stand for nothing. While I am sure his demeanor and tone will be more professional, his votes will probably stink to high heaven. Maybe he will surprise us but, I will be watching him the closest. Its pretty hard to judge the guy since he has not said or did much of anything.
Irrelevant, but there’s a new statue of MLK. Isn’t this equal or more racist than Columbus? Will ‘David’ get removed because he’s in black face?
That cadre of Republican lawyers are there to bolster Jensen, but also to resist the trend to advance voting by mail and preserve the election status quo.

Finding greater error rates in day of election precinct cast ballots being thrown out leads a reasonable voter to think they should vote by mail if they want their vote to count. R’s hate vote by mail because it adds voters to the universe of folks who can vote, and they prefer the current universe of voters who prefer them (R) and have awarded them with big majorities in elected offices.
Jensen needed a phalanx of attorneys just as the developers need a phalanx of council members.
